Foresight News reported that former Ethereum Foundation researcher Dankrad Feist suggested on Twitter that a new organization aligned with the Ethereum economy should be established to "save" Ethereum. The Ethereum Foundation currently holds less than 0.1% of ETH and does not receive staking or fee income. Therefore, this new organization needs to raise at least 1 billion US dollars; appoint a capable leader who is willing to drive change; establish an accountability mechanism, including a board of directors composed of people who hope for the price of ETH to rise, and a charter that clearly requires the organization to be accountable to Ethereum; achieve permanent funding by directing a significant proportion of staking income to the organization and dynamically adjusting it through a governance mechanism.

Foresight News previously reported that Dankrad Feist joined Tempo last October. In response, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin posted, "Dankrad has always been an outstanding researcher who has made extremely valuable contributions to today's Ethereum, including Danksharding, consensus research, and more. I wish him good luck in his new role."
