Before the outbreak of this war, constrained by the previously sluggish oil prices, Continental Resources had once announced plans to cut its oil and gas drilling activities. In the recent fourth quarter of 2025, Continental Resources’ average daily production reached 475 thousand barrels of oil equivalent (BOE/D). Of this, approximately 43% came from the Bakken field in North Dakota, while another 23% was sourced from the Permian Basin, spanning Texas and New Mexico.
