Reports indicate that at least one luxury car dealer has observed a significant rise in the number of Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix employees coming to purchase high-end sports cars. "In the past month, we've received dozens of inquiry calls every day. Most customers visiting our showroom are from Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix. There has been a noticeable increase in the number of people looking at cars priced above 100 million KRW," a luxury car dealer was quoted as saying in the report. Google search trends also confirm this phenomenon. As Samsung and SK Hynix become the world's leading memory chip companies, searches for the term "Ferrari dealership" have recently surged in popularity in South Korea.
