The company is attempting to raise funds by tapping into investors’ strong appetite for domestic energy assets. Returning from the long weekend, the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania–based company announced plans to raise up to $187 million by issuing approximately 6.9 million shares, with a price range of $25–27 per share. The joint bookrunners for this IPO include Raymond James, Stifel, and JPMorgan. WhiteHawk Minerals will be listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the ticker symbol “WHK”. WhiteHawk is backed by Omega Capital Partners, owned by billionaire Leon Cooperman. Supported by explosive growth driven by AI, US power generation’s demand for natural gas continues to soar, allowing the company to benefit greatly.
