Glonghui May 26|Apple shares rose on Tuesday after Bank of America raised the target price for the iPhone maker from $330 to $380 and maintained a "Buy" rating. Analyst Wamsi Mohan believes the company "has huge opportunities in the field of agent AI," and "if AI assistants become the new entry point for search, applications, commerce, scheduling, payments, and workflow execution, we believe Apple should have considerable influence over model providers, application developers, merchants, advertisers, and payment networks." The company notes that there are execution risks in the short term and states that it is crucial for Apple to build digital assistant Siri as the execution layer for AI. Mohan said, "We estimate that under the base case scenario, agent Siri could bring incremental revenue opportunities of about $1.5 billion to $3 billion for fiscal year 2030; under the optimistic scenario, this figure could reach about $4 billion to $6.5 billion, or potentially provide up to $2 in incremental earnings per share."
