According to Golden Ten Data on May 27, as the market grows optimistic about the possible end of the Middle East conflict, UK government bond yields fell along with eurozone and US government bond yields. Strong earnings from AI-related companies also boosted market sentiment. Patrick Munnelly of Tickmill Group stated in a report: “Enthusiasm for AI and the easing of geopolitical risks have outweighed lingering macroeconomic concerns.” Data from Tradeweb shows that the yield on 10-year UK government bonds fell by 3.4 basis points, last reported at 4.837%.
