The Base Azul upgrade is now officially live on the mainnet.
Foresight News reported that Base announced on Twitter that its independent network upgrade, Base Azul, has officially launched on the mainnet.
According to previous reports from Foresight News, Base stated on Twitter that Azul will enhance security, performance, and developer experience in three aspects: Base will activate a multi-proof mechanism through Azul, base-reth-node will become its only execution client, and it will adopt the latest execution layer specification (Osaka) to maintain consistency with Ethereum. Users do not need to take any action for this upgrade.
