According to Odaily, the "new stock trading guru" Serenity posted on X, stating that their holdings of the ETF EWY, which tracks the Korean stock market, have risen by 485% in the past few months, mainly driven by an expansion in implied volatility and a directional "memory long" strategy. During market fluctuations caused by the situation in Iran, some investors exited due to panic and pessimistic sentiment on social media, but semiconductor "memory cycle" trades represented by Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron Technology performed extremely well.

Serenity further stated that if one can predict that Samsung and SK Hynix will become some of the most profitable companies in the world by 2028, then sticking to this long-term logic and enduring volatility in a high-volatility environment may be an effective investment path.
