Fairshake affiliates spend about $3.1 million on advertising to support Adrian Boafo in the Democratic primary

Foresight News reported, citing crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett, that Protect Progress, an affiliate of the cryptocurrency political action committee Fairshake, has spent approximately $3.1 million on advertising in Maryland's 5th Congressional District in support of State Representative Adrian Boafo's campaign in the Democratic primary. According to the latest data from the independent polling firm Clarity Campaign Labs, commissioned by Fairshake, Boafo is currently leading the primary with 17% support, a significant increase from the mid-April baseline poll (10%) and before the organization's involvement at the beginning of the year (3%).

Previously, Protect Progress completed several successful political investments in the Texas primary runoff. Boafo has also received endorsements from Maryland Senator Angela Alsobrooks and Governor Wes Moore, and holds the highest favorability among all primary candidates, reaching 40%.
