IonQ's stock price rose by 4.2%. Other quantum computing stocks that increased included: one exchange with a peak gain of 6.3%, another exchange with a peak gain of 7.3%; Infleqtion Inc. saw an even higher peak gain of 12%. IBM (which plans to invest over 10 billion USD in the next five years to consolidate its leading position in the quantum computing field) remained flat in trading on Tuesday; recently, a video nearly six months old in which Donald Trump praised the company's CEO has been widely circulated on the internet, which previously triggered a sharp rally in IBM's stock price.
