Iran says US projectile hits cargo boat in the Gulf of Oman
The Governor of Iran's Sirik county, an administrative division in Iran's Hormozgan province, announces during the European trading session on Thursday that the United States (US) projectile hit a cargo boat in the Gulf of Oman, Mehr News reported. Five crew members were rescued with the help of passing vessels and transferred to Oman, the news agency added.

No immediate reaction was seen in the US Dollar (USD) following the confirmation of the US attack on a cargo boat in the Gulf of Oman. As of writing, the US Dollar Index (DXY) trades 0.1% lower at around 99.95.
