Rain launches on-chain points system, supporting cash rebates, flight and hotel redemptions
Foresight News reported that stablecoin payment company Rain announced on Twitter that it has launched the Rewards points system, positioned as a loyalty platform native to stablecoin cards, supporting redemption scenarios such as cashback, airline tickets, and hotels. The points are minted on-chain, and partners can customize branding, points names, earning rules, and redemption methods without the need for third-party vendors. Rain previously conducted private testing on the Avalanche Card, covering 2,486 users. Over 30 days, users who activated points spent about 25% more per day on average compared to those who did not activate points.
Foresight News previously reported that stablecoin company Rain completed a $250 million financing round at a $1.95 billion valuation in January 2026, led by ICONIQ.

According to data from the US Department of the Treasury, in the 12 months ending July this year, overseas investors made net purchases of US stocks totaling $942 billion, marking the highest rolling 12-month total since records began in 1985. The net purchases in the second quarter alone reached $426 billion, setting a new single-quarter record. Meanwhile, overseas demand for US Treasuries has noticeably cooled, with purchase volumes falling significantly. As a result, the US is facing higher costs in government debt financing.
