Thetanuts Finance reportedly attacked, with losses around $2.1 million

BlockBeats reported that on June 15, blockchain security firm PeckShield detected a suspected attack on Thetanuts Finance on June 15, 2026, with preliminary estimated losses of about $2.1 million.

According to the report, about $2 million worth of options tokens were recovered in a "white hat" manner. The attacker then swapped approximately $105,000 USDC for about 60 ETH and still holds around $34,000 in options token assets in the form of USDC. Details of the incident are still under further investigation, and no official comprehensive postmortem or vulnerability disclosure report has been released yet.
