Glonghui, June 16 — According to the Korea Economic Daily, Samsung Electronics' foundry business has, for the first time, secured a chip contract manufacturing service order from Elon Musk's brain-computer interface company Neuralink. Samsung Foundry will produce Neuralink's “fourth-generation” chips, with mass production targeted for the end of 2027. This product will use a 4nm process technology, with trial production having started in May 2026.
