Michael Saylor: The modern bitcoin digital asset stack consists of five layers of architecture

Strategy founder Michael Saylor proposed on the X platform a five-layer architecture consisting of digital capital (BTC), digital credit, digital currency, digital yield, and digital equity. Michael Saylor stated that Bitcoin does not need to generate yield through staking, inflation, or protocol changes; instead, yield should be created above Bitcoin through the capital structure. Digital currency combines digital credit with fiat cash equivalents, aiming for a target yield of 6-8%. This architecture does not change the underlying Bitcoin, but expands it into global financial infrastructure through capital markets.
