The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) is reviewing Foreign Boards of Trade (FBOTs) to ensure they properly manage risks and implement relevant regulations, thereby safeguarding the integrity of the market and financial system. This review may lead to the CFTC requiring some overseas exchanges to register with the U.S. regulatory body, but the review is not targeting any specific exchange.
