```htmlGolden Ten Data reported on June 17 that as Zimbabwe's gold production continues to grow, the country has approved the construction of a second gold refinery for the purchase and processing of gold. Government officials stated that this refinery will be located in Bulawayo, the country's second largest city, and is expected to be operational next year. Currently, all gold in Zimbabwe is sold through the state-owned Fidelity Gold Refinery, but the officials said that starting next year, the refinery may be unable to handle the nationwide gold output. Zimbabwe plans to reach 50 tons of gold production in 2026, higher than last year's record 46.7 tons.```
