Iranian Foreign Ministry Denies Closure of Strait of Hormuz
On June 19, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Baghaei stated on social media that reports from some media outlets regarding the 'closure of the Strait of Hormuz' are false. Baghaei mentioned that the Iranian armed forces have taken necessary measures to ensure the safe passage of merchant ships through the Strait of Hormuz, and that traffic on this route is currently normal.
