Kazakhstan strengthens border controls to prevent illegal export of petroleum products

Beket Jenov stated that maintaining stability in the domestic petroleum products market has strategic significance and ordered relevant departments to strengthen border controls to prevent the illegal export of petroleum products. At the meeting, Minister of Energy Akenzhenov said that Kazakhstan's refineries are currently operating normally, with gasoline, diesel, and aviation fuel reserves exceeding 1 million tons, which can meet current domestic consumption needs. Fuel supply for gas stations, agricultural production, and domestic airlines have been designated as priority areas for guaranteed supply.
