US chip stocks rally again, multiple QDII funds with heavy positions see returns double

On June 18 local time, after the United States and Iran reached a memorandum of understanding on a ceasefire, market risk appetite rebounded significantly. Following reports that commercial shipping had resumed in the Strait of Hormuz, all three major U.S. stock indices closed higher, with the Nasdaq rising 1.91% and the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index surging 6.42%. Individual stocks performed even more impressively. Intel rose more than 10%, Micron Technology gained over 8%, and TSMC and Qualcomm both climbed over 6%. SanDisk rallied over 11%, with its total market capitalization surpassing 320 billion USD and its cumulative gains so far this year already exceeding 800%.For domestic investors, although they cannot directly buy these popular chip stocks, a number of QDII funds with heavy semiconductor holdings have also achieved substantial gains this year.
