Golden Ten Data reported on June 22 that today, Bank of Communications and Shanghai Gold Exchange signed a memorandum of cooperation in Shanghai. Bank of Communications President Zhang Baojiang and Vice President Yin Jiuyong, as well as Shanghai Gold Exchange Chairman Yu Wenjian and Vice President Zeng Hui attended the signing ceremony. During the meeting, the two parties had in-depth discussions on topics such as further improving gold market services and product systems, optimizing fund clearing and settlement capabilities, enhancing delivery and storage management standards, and exploring the “exchange-branch linkage” cooperation mechanism. They also reached a consensus on steadily advancing market innovation and better serving market participants. The signing of the memorandum of cooperation will serve as an opportunity for both parties to focus on supporting national strategies, continuously deepen business cooperation, jointly maintain sound operations in the gold market, and provide stronger foundational support and market services for the construction of the Shanghai International Financial Center and the development of the real economy.
