‘XRP Has Only Been This Washed Out 3 Times,’ says Analyst as XRP Braces for a 25% Rally
A major technical setup is taking form in the XRP (XRP-USD) market, and one analyst named Cryptollica declared that “XRP has only been this washed out 3 times” in its entire thirteen-year history. While the digital currency currently trades near $1.13, leaving many everyday investors feeling exhausted, these historical charts suggest a major turnaround is arriving soon. The XRP price looks ready to spring upward in a fast 25% relief rally.

XRP’s Moving Averages Hint at a Sudden July Rebound
When investors look at the weekly trading charts, they can see a rare event happening right now. A short-term price line, known as the 20-week moving average, is about to cross below a much longer-term 200-week line. Usually, Wall Street calls this a death cross, which often frightens traders.
For XRP, this specific crossover actually acts like a giant rubber band. In the past, whenever these two lines crossed, the price quickly snapped back up. Through this historical pattern, the price could shoot straight back toward the $1.40 level by July.
XRP Traders Trap Short Sellers in a Squeeze
The market data shows another reason why prices might jump quickly. Many traders have placed large financial bets, called short positions, hoping that XRP will keep falling. According to information from CoinGlass, there is a giant $236.5 million cluster of these bets sitting right above the current price, specifically around the $1.37 to $1.40 mark.
If XRP starts moving upward, these bearish traders will face a severe problem. The rising price will force them to buy back their coins to cover their losses, which adds even more buying fuel to push the price higher.
Cryptollica Targets a Huge $8 XRP Price
Beyond the July timeframe, the long-term picture looks even bigger. A well-known market watcher named Cryptollica shared a chart showing that the selling pressure for XRP is almost completely gone. He explained in a recent update that during the previous setups, ‘the crowd laughed and ignored it,’ only understanding the setup after the price had already left.
While the price could dip slightly lower to hit a long-term floor near $0.75 first, Cryptollica believes this extreme exhaustion is building a powerful launchpad that points toward a future target of $8.
At the time of writing, XRP’s price is sitting at $1.1432.
