According to data from the National Oil Corporation of Libya, the country's daily crude oil and condensate output has reached 1.49 million barrels, marking the highest level since 2013. On Sunday, Libya's daily crude oil production stood at 1.44 million barrels, with condensate output at 49,163 barrels, just one step away from the previously announced target of 1.5 million barrels per day.
At a meeting in Tripoli, the chairman of the board affirmed the efforts of domestic enterprises and all staff, stating that achieving this result under challenging circumstances and difficulties is particularly significant. He urged everyone to maintain the same pace and determination in striving to reach the expected production target by the end of 2026 to support economic recovery.
This increase in production is attributed to the return of the National Oil Corporation and international oil companies to the sector after years of conflict and instability, further solidifying Libya's position as one of Africa's major oil producers alongside Nigeria, Algeria, and Angola.
