In a few days, I’ll be heading back to New Zealand. So, I'd like to take this opportunity to discuss the exchange rates of AUD and NZD, otherwise known as the AUD/NZD cross rate.

Six or seven years ago, when AUD/NZD was around 1.05, I specifically produced an episode about this pair. Over the past forty years, the AUD/NZD cross rate has exhibited periodic fluctuations with distinct ranges: The upper limit is about 1.35 to 1.4, and the lower limit is roughly 1.05 to 1.1. When it touches the bottom or the top, these are usually good trading opportunities.
