The Base B20 token standard is expected to be activated on the mainnet at 2:00 on June 27.
Foresight News reports that Base Senior Developer Advocate Jon Roethke tweeted that the B20 token standard is expected to be activated on the Base mainnet at 2:00 on June 27 (UTC+8). After the Base Beryl upgrade is activated, enabling the registry may take up to about 1 hour to be fully operational.
B20 is a new native token standard introduced with the Base Beryl upgrade, compatible with ERC-20, and applicable to scenarios such as stablecoins, RWA, and equity assets.
