India launches anti-dumping investigation into alloy and non-alloy hot-rolled steel plates involving China
According to Golden Ten Data on June 26, 2026, India’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry issued an announcement stating that, in response to applications submitted by Indian enterprises JSW Steel Limited, JSW Vijaynagar Metallics Limited, and Jindal Steel Odisha Limited, an anti-dumping investigation has been initiated on alloy and non-alloy hot rolled flat products of steel originating from or imported from China, Japan, and Russia. The investigation mainly covers products under Indian customs codes 7208, 7211, 7225, and 7226. The dumping investigation period is from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025 (12 months), while the injury investigation periods are from April 1, 2022, to March 31, 2023; April 1, 2023, to March 31, 2024; April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025; and January 2025 to December 2025.
