格隆汇 June 26|Tickmill Group analyst Patrick Munnelly stated in a report that the AI-driven stock market is becoming increasingly unstable. Leverage retail exposure, crowded semiconductor long positions, and fragile market sentiment surrounding memory chip demand are all combining to create a market highly susceptible to negative news. The heavy losses in Asian stock markets on Friday indicate that the market may “shift from reassurance to vulnerability in an instant.” Meanwhile, the inflation mitigation effect provided by oil has disappeared, replaced by renewed security risks in the Strait of Hormuz. Although this does not necessarily mean that AI trading has collapsed, the crowded positions mean that when the broader market turns, even fundamentally positive news may struggle to have an impact.
