Glonghui, June 29 — SpaceX (SPCX.US) rose more than 4% at the start of trading. According to informed sources, Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX) has held executive-level talks with Charter Communications about cooperating to provide consumer mobile phone services. These sources, who wish to remain anonymous, said that as the largest home internet service provider in the United States, Charter Communications could, as it currently operates its mobile phone services, process some of SpaceX's mobile communication traffic through its terrestrial internet infrastructure. If an agreement is reached, this will help SpaceX move closer to its goal of becoming a more direct-to-consumer mobile phone service provider.
