Foresight News reported that Aptos announced the market cap of stablecoins in its ecosystem surpassed $2 billion in June 2026, reaching a new all-time high. Meanwhile, Aptos Labs declared that it has become a launch partner for the new Open Standard stablecoin, Open USD, along with other institutions such as Mastercard, Visa, and Stripe. Open USD is designed as an open, low-cost stablecoin aimed at advancing the development of an open financial system.
