The NFT art platform Exchange Art on the Solana chain has announced that it will cease operations on August 1, 2026. The platform decided to close due to a sluggish on-chain art market and the inability to find a sustainable financial path. Users are required to access their accounts and extract necessary information before the shutdown. All artworks and funds held in the platform’s sales and escrow contracts will be released to owners before closure. All artworks have been minted on the Solana blockchain and can be imported to other marketplaces.
