Glonghui, July 3rd – Samsung Electro-Mechanics announced in its future business and management plan that it will invest a total of 15 trillion KRW in the Busan region from this year until 2040. The main objective of this investment is to strengthen the competitiveness of AI data center dedicated packaging substrates and MLCCs. To achieve this, Samsung Electro-Mechanics plans to build the Busan plant into a core hub for high-performance packaging substrates, a high value-added MLCC mother-line, and a key R&D center.
