Vitalik: The founder of Liquid was identified through their habit of analyzing mathematics and cryptographic algorithm sections, leading to the discovery of their anonymous documents.
Foresight News reported that Vitalik Buterin tweeted that Franklyn Wang, founder of Liquid, has successfully identified his anonymized experiment document. In 2024, Vitalik wrote content in Chinese, then translated it into English using the local Qwen2.5 model, and finally manually corrected translation issues to test whether he could effectively hide his personal writing style. Franklyn Wang succeeded in identifying the anonymized document as originating from Vitalik by analyzing unique habits in the mathematics and algorithm explanation sections (such as specific numerical examples, logic for describing attack scenarios, etc.).
Previously, Foresight News reported that Vitalik Buterin tweeted his anonymization experiment had lasted for "13 days" and "no one has found it yet." He provided additional hints, encouraging everyone to "expand the search range a bit," and mentioned he noticed many search efforts and AI scripts missed document categories that should have been included.
