Flutterwave receives investment from Circle Ventures to expand USDC payment and settlement business in Africa
Foresight News reports that African fintech company Flutterwave has announced receiving investment from Circle Ventures, with the specific amount undisclosed. This round of investment aims to expand Flutterwave's USDC payment and settlement operations in the African region. Flutterwave stated that stablecoins are becoming a core financial infrastructure, and the company is committed to building faster and more flexible cross-border fund transfer solutions to help enterprises achieve capital mobility.
According to a previous Foresight News report, Ripple acquired a partial equity stake in African fintech company Flutterwave in June this year at a valuation of 3.3 billion US dollars.
