Glonghui, July 8th｜The Philippine Presidential Office Press Department announced on July 8th that Amazon (AMZN.US)'s cloud computing division AWS has proposed to invest up to $5 billion in the Philippines over the next 15 years. This planned investment will enhance the Philippines' digital infrastructure, create thousands of jobs, and provide faster and more secure cloud services for the nation's enterprises, startups, and government agencies.
