Sony receives conditional approval from the US OCC to launch a stablecoin trust bank by 2027
According to ChainCatcher, Banking Dive reports that Sony has received conditional approval from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency to establish a national trust bank, with plans to launch Connectia Trust in 2027, focusing on the issuance and management of USD stablecoins.
This trust subsidiary belongs to Sony Financial Group and has a capital of 40 million US dollars.
