According to CoinDesk, in June, US spot Bitcoin ETFs saw net outflows of 4 billion USD, with Bitcoin dropping about 14% in the second quarter and falling below 60,000 USD. During the same period, in the 2 trillion USD private credit market, redemption requests reached 15.6 billion USD in the second quarter, and 10 out of 16 business development companies surpassed the 5% quarterly cap. Most investors only received partial payouts, and Fitch expects redemptions to continue. Bitcoin ETFs are highly liquid, so outflows directly affect the BTC price; private credit BDCs are illiquid long-term instruments.

Altman: Safety comes first, no IPO timetable, postponing the release of GPT-6.1 Astra out of extreme caution

OpenAI CEO Altman stated that the IPO may only be considered after the company gains a clearer understanding of how to safely manage the "next-level AI." The delay in launching GPT-6.1 Astra is because the model did not meet some of the company’s evaluation criteria for safety; this decision was made "out of an abundance of caution" rather than due to any major incident. He also noted that Nvidia’s safety systems for AI are not a "complete solution;" AI is more of a scientific problem than an engineering one.
