German TV Crypto Anchor Breaks It Down On XRP and CLARITY Act
XRP sits near $1 with few clear explanations from mainstream analysts. Digital Asset Investor (@digitalassetbuy), a prominent crypto commentator, posted a video arguing that suppression is deliberate. He believes that institutions know what’s coming, and that analysts in Japan and Germany are already seeing it.
German Japanese Analysts Agree
The headline claim comes from a popular German analyst whom Digital Asset Investor describes as “our favorite German financial analyst,” who stated that XRP is “brutally oversold.” Digital Asset Investor agreed, adding, “I will be brutally continuing to buy it as long as it is.”
More notable is the commentary from Rakuten Wallet Senior Analyst Yasuo Matsuda in Japan. A translated clip showed the analyst addressing XRP’s price directly. Digital Asset Investor summarized it plainly: “It’s ultimately going to show up in the XRP price. It’s just a matter of time.”
Two financial analysts from separate markets, neither from the U.S., are pointing to a repricing. Digital Asset Investor says the timing aligns with everything else happening in the space right now.
Wall Street Suppression and the Crypto Cycle
Digital Asset Investor has a straightforward explanation for XRP’s underperformance. “I believe that’s because Wall Street is behind keeping this thing down until it’s time. And when it’s time, it will go off.”
A crypto cycle analysis he referenced puts Bitcoin’s bear phase at roughly 54 days from a reversal, with altcoins next. Santiment data shows XRP at its lowest price since November 2024, yet active addresses rose 33% in August. Existing holders are transacting more while new wallet creation has stayed flat.
Regulatory Momentum Building
The regulatory environment is accelerating. Matt Hogan noted the SEC is roughly a week from proposing “red crypto” rules, designed to let new projects raise capital without triggering registration requirements.
Digital Asset Investor connected it to XRP directly. “Once they do this and once this starts happening, Wall Street knows it,” he said. “They’ll be able to come in, and before you know it, you won’t have any anti-crypto forces.” He sees SEC authority forcing legislative movement on the CLARITY Act.
Ripple’s 50 Million XRP Move
Ripple transferred 50 million XRP from its wallet to a tagged destination. Digital Asset Investor flagged it: “Moves like this rarely happen without a reason.” Ripple executive Reece Merrick described the long-term opportunity as “rewiring the financial system,” pointing to sovereign wealth funds and regional banks investing in real-world asset tokenization.
Ironbridge Private Wealth disclosed a combined position exceeding $10 million across the Bitwise and Volatility Shares XRP ETFs. Cooler-than-expected PPI data eases Fed pressure. Digital Asset Investor’s closing line: “You can see what’s coming, folks.”

VIPTradFi Focus: Where Does the RWA Market Stand Today?
1. Crypto outperformed traditional equity indexes following the rate hike, but elevated interest rates remain a key constraint on cross-asset allocation. From September 12 to 18, BTC, ETH, and SOL gained 4.83%, 3.84%, and 9.96%, respectively, while the S&P 500 edged down 0.08%. The U.S. Dollar Index rose 1.11%, and the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield closed at approximately 4.998%. Improving risk appetite is therefore coexisting with elevated discount rates, raising the bar for RWA allocation: investors need to compare not only returns on the underlying assets, but also on-chain liquidity and collateral efficiency. 2. Growth in tokenized equities is occurring even as the overall RWA market remains under pressure. As of September 18, Distributed Asset Value across RWAs stood at $38.503 billion, down 1.13% week over week, while tokenized equities reached $3.056 billion, up 6.03%. This week's data are better explained by capital reallocating across different RWA segments than by a broad-based expansion of the entire RWA market. 3. For exchanges, the opportunity lies in connecting spot holdings, collateral, and derivatives. Reality's distributed asset value stands at approximately $155 million, while eligible rTokens can already be used within Bitget's UTA margin framework. Across CoinGlass's verifiable sample of 177 TradFi instruments, open interest reached approximately $11.498 billion, up 2.06% week over week, even as weekly trading volume declined 7.60%. The medium-term opportunity remains intact, but deeper utilization will depend on liquidity, collateral use, and sustained trading activity. 4.Assets to watch: BTC, ETH, SOL, NEAR, ZEC, gold, tokenized U.S. equities, COST. 5.Key metrics to watch: rToken collateral utilization, the durability of TradFi open interest and trading volume, and next week's employment and consumer data.
