Portugal's current account turned into a deficit of 303 million euros in June

⑴ Portugal’s current account turned from a surplus of 347 million euros in June last year to a deficit of 303 million euros in June this year. The main drag was a 32.8% widening in the goods deficit to 3.109 billion euros. ⑵ The services surplus edged up 0.1% to 2.799 billion euros, the secondary income surplus expanded by 13.2% to 435 million euros (with remittances up 2.5% to 375 million euros), and the primary income deficit narrowed by 13% to 428 million euros.
