In the news, on August 19, Estée Lauder announced its fourth quarter results, with adjusted earnings per share of $0.39, exceeding analysts’ consensus estimate of $0.32; quarterly revenue was $3.627 billion, surpassing analysts’ consensus estimate of $3.543 billion.
The company’s CEO stated that growth has returned, with organic sales expected to grow by 3% in fiscal year 2026 and accelerating to 5% in the fourth quarter. The company reaffirmed that its Profit Recovery and Growth Plan (PRGP) is expected to be substantially completed in fiscal year 2027.
