The round could be worth billions of dollars and would increase Perplexity's valuation by more than 50% from its last financing, the report said. Nvidia and Perplexity have been strengthening their business ties in recent years, with the chip designer at one point considering licensing the AI company's technology and hiring some of its staff, the report said.
