NVent Electric Agrees to Buy Maverick Power

06:52 AM EDT, 08/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- NVent Electric (NVT) has agreed to acquire Maverick Power for $1.75 billion, nVent said Monday. The deal includes the potential additional cash consideration of up to $550 million, subject to certain performance metrics in 2027 and 2028. NVent expects the deal to be accretive to per-share adjusted earnings in the first year following closing, which is expected in Q4, the company said.
