Electrovaya Begins Testing Automated Battery Production Equipment

08:06 AM EDT, 08/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Electrovaya (ELVA) said Monday it has started factory acceptance testing of its automated lithium-ion cell assembly and formation equipment. The company said it is testing the equipment with production-grade materials, including its ceramic separators, to check performance, consistency and readiness for production. Testing is expected to be finished by early October, after which the equipment will be shipped to its manufacturing facility in New York for installation and further testing, it added.
