Tempus AI Gets FDA Clearance for AI-Enabled Pulmonary Hypertension Detector

08:55 AM EDT, 08/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Tempus AI (TEM) has obtained 510(k) clearance for its AI-enabled software device for detecting pulmonary hypertension, Tempus ECG-PH, from the US Food and Drug Administration, the company said Monday. The device analyzes standard 12-lead electrocardiograms for signs associated with pulmonary hypertension. It is for use in patients 40 years of age or older with cardiovascular symptoms who do not have a known history of the disease, according to a statement.
