Biogen, Eisai's LEQEMBI IQLIK Now Available in US for Early Alzheimer's Disease

08:55 AM EDT, 08/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Biogen (BIIB) and Japanese pharmaceutical company Eisai said Monday that LEQEMBI IQLIK, a once-weekly autoinjector formulation of lecanemab-irmb, is now available in the US for initiation therapy in adults with early Alzheimer's disease. The treatment is indicated for patients with mild cognitive impairment or mild dementia due to Alzheimer's disease. The drug is administered using an autoinjector to provide 500 mg once a week in two consecutive 250 mg injections, with each injection taking about 15 seconds to deliver. LEQEMBI IQLIK is available through the LEQEMBI Specialty Pharmacy Network, the companies said.
