Finance Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne, Industry Minister Melanie Joly, Jobs and Families Minister Patty Hajdu, and Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation Minister Evan Solomon will hold a joint press conference to announce the measures at 11 a.m. ET, according to a press release from the Canadian finance ministry. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, who broke off trade talks with the US late Friday over unacceptable last-minute demands, pledged public measures over the weekend to support companies and workers hit by tariffs.
