08:55 AM EDT, 08/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Consumer stocks were mixed pre-bell Tuesday, with the State Street Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLP) down 0.3% and the State Street Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLY) marginally advancing. Dick's Sporting Goods (DKS) stock was down more than 18% after the company posted a decline in fiscal Q2 non-GAAP earnings and lowered its fiscal 2026 outlook.
