General Mills Removes Certified Colors From US Cereals

09:42 AM EDT, 08/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- General Mills (GIS) said Wednesday that it has removed certified colors from all of its US cereal products. The transition means that 90% of the company's US retail portfolio no longer contains certified colors, the company said. The company expects to remove certified colors from its remaining U.S. retail products, including fruit snacks and baking products, by the end of 2027, General Mills said. Shares of the company were up 1% in Wednesday trading. Price: 40.23, Change: +0.45, Percent Change: +1.13
