AbbVie Seeks EU Approval for Subcutaneous Skyrizi Induction in Crohn's Disease

04:01 AM EDT, 08/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- AbbVie (ABBV) said Thursday it submitted an application to the European Medicines Agency seeking approval for subcutaneous induction of Skyrizi in adults with moderately to severely active Crohn's disease. The company said the application is supported by a phase 3 study data. If approved, patients would have the option to receive Skyrizi induction doses via subcutaneous injection or intravenous infusion, followed by subcutaneous maintenance doses every eight weeks, the company said.
