Update: HealthEquity Shares Fall After Fiscal Q2 Results

HealthEquity (HQY) shares fell nearly 14% in early Thursday trading after the company posted fiscal Q2 results. The company reported fiscal Q2 adjusted earnings of $1.24 per diluted share, compared with $1.08 a year earlier. Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.19. Total revenue for the three months ended July 31 was $350.7 million, compared with $325.8 million a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $349.2 million. The company said it now expects fiscal 2027 revenue of $1.411 billion to $1.421 billion, versus a prior outlook of $1.410 billion to $1.420 billion. Analysts expect $1.42 billion. Fiscal 2027 adjusted net income per diluted share is estimated to be $4.66 to $4.73, unchanged from before. Analysts expect $4.72. Price: 89.84, Change: -14.59, Percent Change: -13.97
