US Natural Gas Stocks Posts Increase As Expected in Week Ended Aug. 21

10:34 AM EDT, 08/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- US natural gas stocks rose by 15 billion cubic feet in the week ended Aug. 21, as expected in a survey compiled by Bloomberg and following an increase of 16 billion cubic feet in the previous week. Stocks at 3.184 trillion cubic feet are 0.9% lower than in the comparable week a year ago but 5.5% above their 5-year average.
